Santi Romero remains with La Salle


Another homegrown Lasallian is staying home.

Santi Romero has committed to staying at De La Salle University for college.

He joins fellow Greenie Ethan Alian and Junior Archer Rhyle Melencio as Lasallians who have stayed so far in the La Salle system.

Romero, who stands at 6-foot-3, averaged 4.77 points, 3.62 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.52 steals per game during NCAA Season 98.

Romero was also part of the Gilas Youth team that competed in the 2022 FIBA Under-18 Asian Championship.

Other class of 2023 recruits of Topex Robinson are Vhoris Marasigan, Isaiah Phillips, Jonnel Policarpio, and Matthew Rubico.
