San Sebastian went on a scoring rampage in the second half, defeating Arellano University 88-75 on Sunday to reignite its hopes of making the Final Four in NCAA Season 100 at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.
Tristan Felebrico led the charge with 17 points, including 11 in the third quarter, when the Stags made their move from a 46-35 halftime deficit to take a 61-57 lead by the end of the period.
The Golden Stags then relied on the trio of Nikko Aguilar, Reggz Gabat, and James Maliwat for a blistering run that overwhelmed the Chiefs and secured San Sebastian’s fourth victory against 10 losses, keeping them in the hunt for a playoff spot.
Arellano University stumbled to a 5-9 record.
