Saturday’s 2021 Honda PBA Philippine Cup action will only feature one game as the San Miguel-Alaska match will be played at a later date.
In a bulletin issued by the league, the said game has been postponed in accordance with health and safety protocols.
It is the first game to be called off since the conference returned to action last Wednesday at the DHVSU Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.
The match was supposed to be at 4:35 p.m., with both teams eyeing to get their first win after starting off the season resumption on the wrong foot.
The Beermen are coming off a stunning 104-110 overtime loss to Juami Tiongson and the Terrafirma Dyip, dropping their card to 3-2.
The Aces, on the other hand, bowed to an inspired NLEX through a 74-84 decision last Thursday, their fourth defeat in six outings.
To be played at the aforementioned time slot instead will be the Road Warriors’ duel with Phoenix Super LPG (2-4), which was originally set at 2 p.m.
NLEX will look to get their fourth win of the tilt against the Fuel Masters, who beat Rain or Shine last Thursday through a come-from-behind 78-77 win.
