Kyt Jimenez is now on the verge of realizing his dreams.
The flamboyant 5-foot-11 guard has been activated by San Miguel ahead of its clash against NLEX on Wednesday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Jimenez, 26, was the 76th overall pick in the 2023 PBA Draft.
Gen San’s elimination from the MPBL playoffs at the hands of Batangas Embassy Chill in the South Division semis paved the way for his release from the Warriors and eventual signing with the Beermen.
Jimenez averaged 6.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.4 steals for Gen San.
Meanwhile, NCAA Season 98 Finals MVP King Caralipio has also been signed by Converge.
Caralipio was the 42nd overall pick in the same draft class.
The 25-year-old, blue-collar forward played for Zamboanga Family’s Brand Sardines in the MPBL, averaging 7.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest.
Zamboanga was eliminated by Bacoor, also in the Southern semis.
