Incoming College of Saint Benilde Blazers head coach TY Tang will have to look for another big man

The National University Bulldogs scored a coup after 6-foot-5 big man Christian Fajarito has formally transferred to Jhocson Street according to multiple sources.

According to the source, the former Saint Benilde Blazer transferred to NU, wanting to play under the tutelage of coach Eric Altamirano. His transfer was secured last Wednesday, November 23. However, even after Altamirano’s resignation, the former FEU-Diliman standout asked to remain with the Bulldogs the sources added.NCAA-92-CSJL-vs.-CSB-Fajarito-4444 SOURCE: Saint Benilde's Fajarito transfers to National University Basketball CSB NCAA News NU UAAP - philippine sports news

During his first year in CSB, Fajarito posted norms of 5.2 points and 4.6 rebounds. He raised his averages to 9.4 points and 6.2 rebounds in his second and final year in Taft Avenue.

Fajarito will have to sit out one year and will be eligible in the 81st season of the UAAP.

On the other hand, the Blazers will still have Senegalese student-athlete Clement Leutcheu, Edward Dixon, and Yankie Haruna to man their frontline.
