RR Garcia picked up by Phoenix for PBA bubble conference

With Calvin Abueva not being allowed to join them, Phoenix Super LPG picked up an old reliable to complete its lineup.

RR Garcia was signed by the Fuel Masters from the free agents list to close out the PBA’s signing period, Friday.

“RR will join us in the bubble,” said Phoenix team manager Paolo Bugia.

From 2014 to 2016, the native of Zamboanga City played for Barako Bull which later on became the Phoenix franchise.

The 5-foot-11 guard would then be traded to Magnolia before moving to San Miguel and TNT.

The product of FEU signed with Phoenix last season before heading to free agency.

Only he and Chris Javier of TNT were picked up for the free agents pool.
