Robert Bolick named 2017 Aspirants’ Cup MVP

Cignal-San Beda HD Hawkeyes forward Robert Bolick’s steadiness all through out the 2017 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup was enough for him to earn Most Valuable Player honors.

The incoming San Beda senior posted norms of 12.2 points on 49.5 percent shooting, along with 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.2 assists in the HD Hawkeyes’ maiden campaign.

The 21-year-old from Leyte bested other candidates in teammate Jason Perkins, Café France’s Paul Desiderio, and Racal’s Kent Salado and Sydney Onwubere en route to the award.

Bolick will have a chance to cap off an MVP conference with a championship as Cignal aim to sweep Racal on Game Two, Monday afternoon at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
