Robert Bolick will not be returning to NorthPort when the 2021-22 PBA Governors’ Cup resumes on February 11.
The third overall pick in the 2019 PBA Rookie Draft and the Batang Pier could not come to terms with an extension, according to multiple sources closely monitoring the situation.
Bolick’s contract expired last January 31.
The San Beda product’s case is the same with Roosevelt Adams and Terrafirma as he is currently a restricted free agent. This means that his rights will still remain with Northport.
Bolick, 26, has grown to become Northport’s leader over the past three years.
The 6-foot-1 combo guard normed 17.2 points, 7.8 assists, and 6.7 rebounds in 13 games played in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup.
He raised his numbers in four games played in the ongoing Governors’ Cup, norming 20.5 points, 9.3 assists, and 5.3 rebounds.
Tiebreaker Times tried to reach out to both Bolick and Northport management but has yet to receive a reply as of publishing.
