RC Calimag’s brother Richi goes to UST

RC Calimag will be facing someone familiar to him when UAAP Season 85 begins on October 1.

His younger brother Richi has committed to going to University of Santo Tomas.

Growling Tigers head coach Bal David and assistant coach Rodney Santos were able to get the commitment of the 6-foot-3 guard during the FilAm Nation Select Global Summit held at Santiago Canyon College in Orange, California.

After moving from the States and leaving La Salle Greenhills, the younger Calimag went to Diamond Bar High School in California.

The son of former PBA pro Ricky averaged 13.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.3 steals in 18 games played.

Being part of the 2022 class, Richi will be eligible come UAAP Season 85.

UST also made offers to 6-foot guard MJ Langit, 6-foot-3 winger Ethan Galang, 6-foot-4 winger King Miller, 6-foot-1 guard Gjerard Wilson, and 6-foot-2 winger Kai Maniego.
