Ramil de Jesus introduced as new Women’s National Volleyball Team head coach

The rumors are true

After weeks of speculation, Ramil de Jesus was officially announced as the head coach of the Women’s National Volleyball Team at the Arellano University Gym in Legarda, Manila.

Flanked by Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. officials, the De La Salle University head coach addressed National Team hopefuls.

Alyssa Valdez, Jia Morado, Cha Cruz, Melissa Gohing, Kianna Dy, Majoy Baron, Dawn Macandili, Ara Galang, Kim Fajardo, Aby Maraño, Maika Ortiz, Cj Rosario, Mylene Paat, Mj Phillips, Rebecca Rivera, Jaja Santiago, and Dindin Santiago-Manabat were all in attendance for the tryouts.

Still, De Jesus is hopeful more players will attend the future National Team tryouts.

“Alam kong alangnin ang oras ng tryouts. Hopefully, next time maraming makapunta.”
