PVL: Chery Tiggo shatters Creamline’s grand slam bid

Creamline’s grand slam dream came to a sad end on Tuesday night at the Philsports Arena.

This, as the Cool Smashers’ five-set, 25-16, 20-25, 14-25, 25-11, 15-9 win over the Chery Tiggo Crossovers was not enough to buoy them to the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference finals.

The Rebisco-backed squad finished the round robin semis with five points off a 2-1 standing. However, this only landed them in third place as Petro Gazz collected six points with a 2-1 slate.

Game One of the finals will begin on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
