In a season filled with cards and tournaments from all forms of martial arts, ALA Productions will open the season with its 30th Pinoy Pride show at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The longest reigning Filipino world champion, Donnie “Ahas” Nietes, will headline the 8-deep card against Gilberto “Parrita” Parra of Mexico. In the co-main event of the evening, recently inducted into the Elorde Hall of Fame, “the Filipino Flash” Nonito Donaire will look to get back on the right track against Brazilian, William Prado, for the WBC NABF Super Bantamweight Championship.
Before we get into the fights, everyone has to make sure all fighters make weight. Here are the results for the weigh-ins held at the Green Gate of the Smart Araneta Coliseum, March 27, 2015.
