PH Baseball remains king of SEAG

MABALACAT, PAMPANGA — The Philippines made sure it would not lose its throne in baseball’s return to the Southeast Asian Games.

The Philippine Men’s National Baseball Team capped their dominant campaign with a 15-2 demolition of Thailand, Sunday at the Villages.

This is the Philippines’ third gold in the sport, having won gold in 2005 and 2011 as well. In 2007, Thailand won the event.

The event has only been held four times in the biennial meet.
