Petro Gazz soars to solo second with rout of BanKo

Riding the crest of a five-game winning surge, the Petro Gazz Angels soared to solo second in the 2019 PVL Open Conference standings on Wednesday night.

The Angels flaunted another balanced offensive thrust, throttling Dzi Gervacio and the BanKo Perlas Spikers in straight-set fashion, 25-18, 25-18, 25-22, at the FilOil Flying V Centre.

Jeanette Panaga and Jovie Prado fueled the scoring barrage of Petro Gazz. The duo tallied 12 points apiece.

Petro Gazz will try to sustain their fiery streak when they face the Chef’s Classics Red Spikers on Wednesday, October 2. On the other hand, BanKo Perlas will look to arrest a two-game skid against Motolite on Saturday, September 28. Both matches will be played at the same venue.
