Petro Gazz bolsters frontline with Galdones, Ipac


Petro Gazz shored up its frontline ahead of the 2023 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference.

The Angels announced the signing of former University of Sto. Tomas middle blocker KC Galdones and ex-BaliPure middle blocker Norielle Ipac on Thursday afternoon.

Galdones’ final year in the UAAP saw her in and out of the Golden Tigresses starting unit. Meanwhile, the former La Salle standout last played for the Water Defenders back in the 2022 Open Conference.

Ipac and Galdones are set to join a formidable Petro Gazz front line that features All-Filipino Conference Best Middle Blockers Remy Palma and MJ Phillips.

Also part of last conference’s middle blocker rotation are Des Clemente and Yeye Gabarda.

The Angels are coming off an impressive campaign in the All-Filipino Conference that saw them push Creamline to a winner-take-all match in the finals.
