Peter Rosillo transfers from Mapua to Letran

The rebuild of Colegio de San Juan de Letran continues.

Hours after securing the commitment of Mark Omega, the Knights have also secured the transfer of one of the breakout stars of the NCAA last season Peter Rosillo, Tiebreaker Times has learned on Monday evening.

Rosillo, a product of the Adamson Baby Falcons program, was part of the Mapua Cardinals squad that finished second place a season ago.

The 5-foot-8 guard out of Placer, Surigao del Norte averaged 5.19 points, 3.14 rebounds, 1.81 assists, and 1.1 steals in NCAA Season 99.

But it was in the Finals when Rosillo shone brightly, averaging 10.0 points and 4.67 rebounds in the three-game series — including a 15-point, seven-rebound outing in the series opener.

Rosillo’s arrival at Mapua came as a surprise after committing to Adamson during the summer of 2023.

Now, it seems that he has truly found a home in the Grand Old League.

Rosillo will sit out one season before being eligible for NCAA Season 101. He still has four years of eligibility left.

He will join Omega and many more as the Knights look to bounce back from their horrendous campaign a season ago.
