PBA Visayas adds Tenorio, Al-Hussaini

PBA Visayas All-Stars further solidified their already-loaded line-up as they acquired Rabeh Al-Hussaini and LA Tenorio in their bid to upend Chooks Gilas Pilipinas in the third and final leg of the 2017 PBA All-Star Week.

The reunion of the former Ateneo teammates came after the All-Stars lost June Mar Fajardo and Terrence Romeo, as both stars will play for Chooks Gilas Pilipinas in their clash on Sunday, April 30, at the Hoops Dome in Cebu.

The six-foot-seven Al-Hussaini, who will fill the void left by the Cebu-born Fajardo in the five spot, is currently averaging 7.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in the 19.7 minutes he sees action under Coach Yeng Giao with the NLEX Road Warriors.

On the other hand, the five-foot-nine Tenorio is currently posting norms of 16.6 points on a notable 53.1 percent shooting clip, 4.2 dimes, and 1.4 steals for the Barangay Ginebra in the ongoing Commissioner’s Cup.

The duo completes the Visayan squad that consists of two-time MVP James Yap, Joe Devance, Jeff Chan, Chris Ross, Chris Ellis, Aldrech Ramos, Dondon Hontiveros, Ronald Tubid, Jericho Cruz, and now-15-time All-Star Asi Taulava.

The Visayas All-Stars will be mentored by none other than multi-titled coach Tim Cone.
