Guiao earlier said Yante was a liar, and also shared the instances where he felt they got the wrong end of Yante’s incompetence.
“There is also a play where tinulak si (Raymond) Almazan, and tinulak rin siya ni (Josh) Davis pero si Almazan lang ang natechnical,” Guiao told reporters Sunday night.
In another play, Yante was the baseline referee when Jonathan Uyloan attacked and was blocked by Cliff Hodge as seen on the replay. Yante however, awarded possession to Meralco.
“It was clearly naglay-up si (Jonathan) Uyloan, and nasupalpal ni (Cliff) Hodge. Nasa harap niya. I don’t know what judgement he gave us. I don’t know if this is something personal. Di ko alam kung bakit nagrereferee pa siya.”
