The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) has found a new home on RPTV Channel 9.
The move comes as part of a collaboration with TV5, which officially launched RPTV on Thursday morning.
RPTV is set to become the new free-to-air home for PBA fans, providing live coverage of all PBA games, including the 3×3 competitions, D-League matches, and more.
Viewers can also anticipate catching other exciting sports events, such as the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) and Gilas Pilipinas games.
The inaugural broadcast of PBA games on RPTV is scheduled to kick off this Friday, perfectly timed for Game 1 of the highly anticipated best-of-seven PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals series between San Miguel and Magnolia.
PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership, stating, “Maganda sa liga kasi nandiyan ang A2Z, nandiyan ang PBA Rush, Pilipinas Live at ngayon may RPTV. Maganda ito para sa liga at mga fans dahil nabibigay natin ang lahat sa fans.”
Games will be broadcast live on RPTV, PBA Rush, and Pilipinas Live, ensuring that fans can catch all the action as it happens.
