Don Trollano knocked down the marginal trey to lift San Miguel past Ginebra, 85-82, for its second win in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup, Sunday night at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
The seasoned wing showed nerves of steel in the endgame, nailing the most important bucket of the night to break the 82-all deadlock and put themselves ahead for good with 8.3 seconds left.
The Beermen then leaned on defense on the other end, preventing Justin Brownlee and Scottie Thompson from getting good looks from deep as time expired.
