Reigning FIBA 3×3 U18 World Championships dunk champion and UCLA-commit Kobe Paras returns to the Philippines lineup to represent the country in the 2015 edition of the event to be held from June 4 to 7 in Debrecen, Hungary.
Paras will be joined by Ricci Rivero, Mike Nieto, and Richard Escoto as the Philippines gears up against Uruguay, Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland, and the host squad in Pool A.
The top four teams in each of the four pools advance to the Round of 16. The Philippines failed to reached the next round during the 2013 edition held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Paras teamed with Thirdy Ravena, Arvin Tolentino, and Prince Rivero during the 2013 event as the group finished with a 3-4 record. Paras took home the slam dunk contest trophy in the tournament side activities.
The Philippines will open its campaign against Poland and Hungary on June 4. The Southeast-Asian nation then battles Kazakhstan and Russia on June 5 before wounding up its elimination on June 6 against Uruguay.
