Pangasinan-Solar Home vents ire on RK Hoops-QC to close WMPBL elims

Pangasinan-Solar Home snapped a five-game losing streak with a commanding 82-50 victory over RK Hoops-Quezon City, closing out the 2025 Women’s Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League regular season presented by Akari on Saturday night at Enderun Gym.

The Suns finished the eliminations in fifth place with a 4-6 record, tied with Tagaytay-Tol, but fell short in the tiebreaker due to the latter’s superior head-to-head point differential.

“We played well, so going to the quarterfinals hopefully mandala namin ‘yung momentum,” said Suns head coach PJ Navarro.

Though Pangasinan-Solar Home missed out on a top-four finish, they ended their campaign on a high note, fueled by a balanced team effort led by Gabi Bade in a wire-to-wire win over the struggling RK Hoops-Quezon City.

“It feels great that we came together to get this win,” said Bade, who paced the Suns with 18 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.

“We weren’t gonna back down to any team, so I’m really proud of my team for just fighting throughout the whole game. We stuck together, we were resilient, and we fought with grit, so I’m just really proud of my team today,” she added.

LJ Miranda recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Hazelle Yam contributed 11 points and five boards. Lee Sario also added 10 points and seven rebounds for Pangasinan-Solar Home.
