Michael Juico has signed with the Basilan Peace Makers for the Mindanao leg of the 2021 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup.
Juico, a 6-foot guard out of San Sebastian, played for Pampanga during the Chooks-to-Go Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Lakan Cup and the National Basketball League-Philippines Season Three Finals.
With the Giant Lanterns, he normed 14.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
On the other hand, Juico averaged 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.8 steals in Delta’s four-game triumph over La Union last year.
It is still unknown what the status of Juico will be in NBL-Philippines.
So far, the Peace Makers have unveiled 17 of their players.
Holdovers from their Steel team include Hesed Gabo, Chris Bitoon, Jonathan Uyloan, Jay Collado, Bobby Balucanag, Anthony Bringas, Darwin Lunor, Junjie Hallare, Mark Trinidad, Harold Ng, Ar Julkipli, and Reiner Bazan.
Other off-season pick-ups were Jhong Baloria, Michael Mabulac, Stephen Siruma, and JR Taganas.
Basilan still has three slots open for their 20-man roster.
