Pals Rivera, Pons, Eya Laure add to Rondina’s drive for Cebu

Support continues to come in the way of Sisi Rondina’s fundraising drive in an effort to procure personal protective equipment for the frontliners in the coronavirus-hit Barangay Luz in Cebu City.

Bernadeth Pons, Jude Garcia, Rica Rivera, and Maji Mangulabnan contributed to the cause by putting up their respective jerseys on the auction block.

Meanwhile, Eya Laure also pitched in support of the campaign by throwing in a pair of black Mizuno shoes in the mix.

Each item has a starting bid of 1,200 pesos, except for Laure’s sneakers which starts at 1,000.

The auction for the game-worn items of Pons, Garcia, and Rivera ends on April 23, Thursday, at 11:59 p.m., while the deadline for bidding of Magulabnan’s uniform and Laure’s kicks is on April 24, Friday, at 11:59 p.m.

Rondina’s fundraising drive has had no shortage in support from fellow athletes as volleyball players in Imee Hernandez, Milenna Alessandrini, and Ysa Jimenez, as well as cagers Renzo Subido, Rhenz Abando and Mark Nonoy, also chipped in for the sake of those at the forefront of the battle against the dreaded disease.
