Pacio-Brooks to take place on ONE’s return to Manila

After an almost three-year absence due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, ONE Championship is set to return to the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 3.

And headlining the bout is the much-awaited clash between ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua Pacio and top contender Jarred Brooks.

The bout was first reported by International Business Times and, later on, announced by ONE Championship during its 160th event.

Pacio versus Brooks was originally slated to take place last June during ONE 158. However, the bout was pushed.

Pacio (20-3) last fought in the Circle back on September of 2021, defeating Yosuke Saruta to take their trilogy.

Brooks (19-2, 1NC) has yet to experience a loss in ONE. In his last bout, he defeated Bokang Masunyane during ONE 156.
