OKBet opens flagship outlet for legal-aged sports fans

Avid local sports fans in the Philippines now have a new place to gather and support their favorite players and teams, thanks to the recent launch of OKBetting Stations.

On February 15th, the flagship outlet of the Filipino sportsbook and e-games platform OkBet was opened in the Newport World Resorts in Pasay City, in partnership with the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

The launch event was graced by several notable figures, including OKBet executives Kah Leong Kong and Wayne Thong, MPBL Commissioner Kenneth Duremdes, and MPBL executive Joe Ramos.

The event marked the beginning of a nationwide expansion plan, which will see more OKBetting Stations opening across the country, starting with locations in Metro Manila and Cebu.

OKBetting Stations are designed to offer registered players a convenient and safe place to top up their account balance, place wagers, and withdraw their winnings in person.

For new users, the facilities provide a straightforward sign-up process, with the assistance of in-house representatives who help with account verification.

But the expansion of OKBetting Stations is about more than just providing a better gaming experience for players. The move also aims to create job opportunities for Filipinos and boost the country’s economy. And in a further show of commitment to the local community, OKBet has recently acquired its own team in the MPBL, the OKBet Makati Kings.

The launch event was part of a wider celebration called “Together, We Rise,” which brought together local artists, athletes, celebrities, and other public figures to mark the gaming firm’s several milestones and advocacies. The company’s leadership highlighted the importance of working together and supporting each other as they pursue their goals.
