OG tries to get JMF, Team Secret responds with Slaughter


San Miguel big man June Mar Fajardo’s face was all over the internet on Tuesday night after two-time The International champion OG posted a meme featuring the six-time Most Valuable Player.

Fajardo, who has an uncanny resemblance to OG midlaner Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, was featured in a classic “Spiderman pointing at Spiderman” meme with the Finnish Dota 2 star to the delight of both Dota 2 and Filipino basketball fans.

OG also joked about sending Fajardo and four other look-alikes of Anathan “Ana” Pham, Sébastien “Ceb” Debs, Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, and Martin “Saksa” Sazdov to the AniMajor if ever the original OG squad failed to qualify on a separate Facebook post.

European powerhouse Team Secret also jumped right into the fun exchange — replying with an edited photo of Northport center Greg Slaughter in a Team Secret jersey.

Interestingly, both Topson and Fajardo actually have one other thing in common other than their facial similarities. Both of them have cemented their legendary status in their respective fields.

Fajardo, the only six-time MVP of Asia’s first pay-for-play league, currently has eight PBA championships, eight Best Player of the Conference awards, three finals MVP trophies. He has also represented the Philippines in numerous international tournaments.

Topson, on the other hand, currently boasts a 100-percent win rate at The International — Dota 2’s most prestigious tournament. The pub stomper-turned-superstar was one of the pillars of OG’s historical back-to-back win at TI8 and TI9, making him the fifth Dota 2 player with the highest earnings.

Coincidentally, Fajardo is a well-known Dota 2 fan and player as he regularly streams through his Facebook page AHOS Gaming which now has a total of 98,000 followers on Facebook.

The pride of Cebu is currently working his way towards a return to the court after a horrific leg injury last February 2019. OG, meanwhile, is also not top shape as they are on the verge of missing the second Dota Pro Circuit Major of the year.
