Nxled has tapped Italian tactician Ettore Guidetti to be its new head coach for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.
The Chameleons announced the development on their Facebook page on Friday afternoon.
“We’re thrilled to have you here, Coach! It’s time to get everything back on track in the gym! Let’s go!” read Nxled’s post.
Guidetti boasts an impressive résumé in his 23-year career as a coach. He has led multiple teams in Italy, as well as clubs in Poland, Sweden, and Romania.
Most recently, Guidetti served as head coach for Volley Soverato, a Serie A2 squad in Italy.
He also managed Sweden’s senior national team and youth national team from 2019 to 2022.
In Chinese coach Chen Gang’s lone conference with Nxled – the recently concluded Reinforced Conference – they finished with a disappointing record of 1-7.
The team won its opening game before suffering seven straight losses.
