NUNS, FEU-Diliman sweep to stay unbeaten in UAAP Boys’ Volleyball

Defending champion National University Nazareth School and Far Eastern University-Diliman swept their respective opponents to remain unbeaten after three matches in the UAAP Season 88 high school boys volleyball tournament at Paco Arena on Tuesday.

Xandrex Ragusta scored five of his nine points off blocks, Jerowe Biscocho added eight points and three digs, while Elmerson Lejano and Ronnie Millan each contributed seven points as the Bullpups improved to 3-0 following a 25-16, 25-14, 25-21 romp over De La Salle-Zobel.

With the Junior Green Spikers closing in—led by Kooper Arguelles’ back-to-back kills in the third set—a timely kill from Millan and a one-two play from Haris Tuliao eventually sealed the match for NUNS’s third consecutive win.

No DLSZ player reached double digits, with Brett Urriquia leading the team with nine points, while captain Kyle Aure was limited to four.
