In another milestone for University Athletic Association of the Philippines, the league held the draw of the order of performances for the upcoming Cheerdance Competition.
“The league wants to promote the other sports as well, and what better way to advance this than by doing a press conference for one of the most anticipated special events than the Cheerdance Competition?” said UAAP Vice President Nong Calanog of event host La Salle.
Defending champions National University picked first. Head coach Ghicka Bernarbe proved to be lucky, as the NU Pep Squad will perform last.
“We are doing something new this year that will pay tribute to the Filipino people,” said Bernabe.
Performing first this year will be the DLSU Animo Squad, followed by the UE Pep Squad. The UP Pep Squad, the Ateneo Blue Babble Battallion, the FEU Cheering Squad, the Adamson Pep Squad, and the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe will perform in that order, respectively.
The event will take place on November 17 also at the MOA Arena.
