Unlike during Northport’s first two games in the 2023 PBA Governors’ Cup, Robert Bolick did not make the trek to Antipolo City to cheer on the Batang Pier when they went up against NLEX on Saturday evening.
But apparently, the five-year veteran is not even in the country anymore.
Bolick left the country on Friday and is already in Taiwan, according to Tiebreaker Times sources.
Moreover, those same sources told the publication that Bolick has already bid the team farewell last Wednesday.
However, it was denied but Northport team manager Pido Jarencio.
“Hindi, nandiyan lang [si Robert],” he said after Northport’s 121-112 loss to NLEX on Saturday.
The Northport lifer’s contract with the team ends in three days — on January 31 to be exact.
Despite the stalemate the two camps are in, Jarencio stressed that they have not pulled the max offer they offered to their ace yet.
“Si Bolick, hindi pa… hihintayin lang namin na mag-agree sa binigay naming offer. E ‘di hintayin natin.”
