NLEX gets Ben Adamos in 2-for-1 trade with Phoenix

NLEX has beefed up for the 48th season of the PBA.

The Road Warriors have received Ben Adamos from Phoenix Super LPG in exchange for Reden Celda and Tzaddy Rangel.

The league approved the trade on Tuesday.

With this, Frankie Lim gets to coach Adamos again after guiding the big man in University of Perpetual Help System DALTA from 2018-19.

The 6-foot-7 big man has yet to play in the ongoing PBA on tour.

Meanwhile, Celda, a six-year veteran, signed with the Road Warriors last October.

In two games played in the 2023 PBA Arena Plus On Tour, the 6-foot guard out of Davao averaged 2.0 points and 1.5 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Rangel, a 6-foot-7 big man, has been with the Road Warriors since 2020.

The former National University center averaged 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in the preseason.
