Meralco consultant Nenad Vucinic will not be on the sidelines for the next few games due to family reasons.
Vucinic will attend his daughter’s wedding in New Zealand, causing him to miss Game 2 tonight and Game 3 on Friday.
It remains uncertain whether he will be able to return in time for Game 4 on Sunday.
“Here at Meralco, family always comes first,” said Bolts team manager Paolo Trillo.
“He will still be very much involved in our preparations for our next games.”
Vucinic departed for New Zealand immediately after Game 1 last Sunday, which Meralco dropped to TNT, 100–95.
The Serbian-Kiwi tactician was also present for the birth of his granddaughter last Monday.
In his absence, Luigi Trillo and the rest of the coaching staff are prepared to lead the Bolts as they look to even the series against the Tropang 5G tonight.
