Behind Ichie Altamirano’s season-high game, San Sebastian College-Recoletos fended off Emilio Aguinaldo College in a 62-59 wire-to-wire win in the NCAA Season 98 Seniors Basketball Tournament on Sunday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
Altamirano finished a season-high 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field, alongside seven rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block with 25-minutes of playing time.
The Golden Stags are still intact in the fifth spot with an 8-9 record.
The Generals, on the other hand, are now on a two-game losing streak as they stayed hapless with a 2-15 win-loss card in the tenth spot.
San Sebastian will end their season on a high note against Mapua University on Wednesday at 12 NN. Meanwhile, EAC will look to end its season for another taste of win against Arellano University on Tuesday also at the same time.
