La Salle’s quest for success in the 2024 V-League Men’s Collegiate Challenge hinges on teamwork and leveraging both senior and rookie talent.
Menard Guerrero, the UAAP Season 86 Best Libero, emphasizes that the team’s goal is not just to produce standout players but to build a cohesive unit capable of achieving greatness.
Their next challenge comes against the University of Santo Tomas, the UAAP silver medalists, on September 18 at the Philsports Arena.
This crucial semifinal match will test La Salle’s readiness and teamwork.
La Salle has shown strong potential this season, with a 5-2 win-loss record in the V-League.
Guerrero’s confidence in the Green Archers is rooted in their ability to integrate younger players like Michael Fortuna and Eugene Gloria into the competitive environment. He stresses the importance of maximizing each player’s talent and not relying solely on individual star power.
“Lagi as a team ang hirap kasi kung iilan lang yung gumagawa samin, so lagi namin binubuo namin as a team.
For La Salle to succeed in its semifinal match, it is committed to giving its best effort and trusting in the coaches’ system and each other.
