MPL PH: RSG makes quick work of Bren for share of early leadership

RSG PH swept Bren Esports for its second consecutive in the MPL Philippines Season Nine on Friday night.

The victory put RSG PH at 2-0 at the top spot tied with ECHO and TNC.

Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo’s Esmeralda anchored RSH PH’s dominant 11-2 Game One win in just 9 minutes and 55 seconds.

Nathzz played actively on the map, finishing with three kills and five assists without a single death. He also led the game with a total of 34,080 damage dealt.

With Bren Esports fielding in Fanny at the hands of Kenneth “Saxa” Fedelin, RSG PH made sure to clamp down the Bren Esports jungler by putting pressure in the jungle.

That alone gave RSG PH the advantage which eventually turned into an early 1-0 lead advantage.

Riding its Game One momentum, RSG PH established its lead early in Game Two, with Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto picking up a Triple Kill in the 5:06-mark on his Lancelot.

That alone put RSG PH ahead by as much as 4K in the gold department.

Bren Esports showed signs of life later on, but Demonkite once again notched a Triple Kill this time in the 8:58-mark which led to a free Lord take for RSG PH. A five-man wipe then sealed the game.

Demonkite finished with 10 kills and three assists against one death in the 17-3 Game Two victory, while Dylan “Light” Catipon had eight assists on Khufra.
