Blacklist International leaned on the heroics of three new members of the team to recover from their opening day loss to M4 World champion Echo with a convincing 2-0 sweep of TNC Pro Team in Week 1 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11 on Saturday
Jon Redick “Super Red” Bordeos made up for a lackluster debut yesterday with a monster performance in Game 1 against TNC, taking an 8-0-2 KDA by the 11th minute and helping Blacklist take control of the match.
He finished with a monster 13-1-2 KDA as he outscored the whole TNC squad who only had 11 total kills.
Blacklist continued to dominate Game 2 with the trio newbies of Kenneth Carl “Yue” Tadeo, Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcase and Super Red performing out of their minds but TNC pulled off the right stops to bring the match deep into late game.
The defending MPL PH champions needed to weave their way through a 21st minute lord fight to score a 4-1 exchange plus the lord to finally secure their first win of the season.
Yue led the way in the close out win with a 10-3-8 KDA.
