Mich Gamit bolsters Creamline’s stacked middle blocker rotation

Following a stellar campaign with ZUS Coffee, Michelle Gamit is ready to join Creamline’s already stacked middle blocker rotation.

The Cool Smashers officially announced the move Tuesday afternoon, just hours before their match against Cignal in the 2025 PVL On Tour.

“May bagong Pink Volleybelle na magbibigay sa atin ng Good Vibes! Mga ka-vibes, sabay-sabay nating i-welcome si Michelle Gamit! We are so happy to have you as a new member of our GV-Kada,” the team shared in a Facebook post.

Gamit now joins a deep pool of middle blockers that includes Jeanette Panaga, Pau Soriano, Lorie Bernardo; rookies Sheena Toring and Nica Celis; and the sidelined Bea De Leon, who had just come off her best PVL season during the recent All-Filipino Conference.

The 5-foot-8 Gamit played a key role in the Thunderbelles’ historic first playoff appearance in the previous all-local conference. She consistently delivered on both ends, forming a solid tandem with reigning Rookie of the Year Thea Gagate.

It remains unclear if Gamit will suit up against the HD Spikers later today.
