Marcio Lassiter leaves SMB-NorthPort game after knee injury

San Miguel just suffered a tough blow in their 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup quarterfinal do-or-die match versus NorthPort Wednesday evening.

Marcio Lassiter will not be able to battle it out with the Beermen after suffering an apparent left knee injury.

The Filipino-American sniper got hurt at the 3:22-mark of the second quarter as he landed awkwardly after blocking Garvo Lanete’s lay-up.

Lassiter left the game with 11 points on 3-of-4 shooting from the deep, three rebounds, and two assists.

The 6-foot-2 sharpshooter left the SMART Araneta Coliseum during the third quarter to head straight to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center

The game means a lot for the Beermen as their run in the mid-season conference is on the line.
