Oraeme compiled a total of 598 statistical points. Overall, he compiled a total of 158 points, 172 rebounds, 12 assists, seven steals, and a whopping 38 blocks in just nine games. This resulted to a 66.44 Player Average Value. However, the Cardinals are currently just sixth in the team standings with a 4-5 slate.
San Beda’s Arthur Dela Cruz is second on the list with 574 SP’s and a PAV of 63.78. The King Lion currently is second in the league in scoring with 177 points. Moreover, the fifth-year forward has 113 rebounds and 55 assists after the first round. The Red Lions are 7-2 after the first round as well.

In order to win the NCAA Most Valuable Player award, a candidate must lead his team to the final four and, as well as, lead in the ER statistical point race. In 2008, Jason Ballesteros of the San Sebastian Stags led the race but his team did not reach the Final Four. As a result, San Beda’s Sam Ekwe was the MVP of that season.
In addition, a player cannot be disqualified from the game at any point in the season.
