Six days after their curtain call for UAAP Season 84, the assistant coaches of Jinino Manansala in University of Santo Tomas have tendered their resignation to the school.
Multiple sources closely monitoring the situation have told Tiebreaker Times that the coaches, led by Growling Tigers lead assistant and Tiger Cubs head coach McJour Luib, passed their resignation letter to the school.
Also leaving the Growling Tigers’ staff are Tiger Cubs assistant coaches JC Nuyles and Albert Alocillo; Growling Tigers strength and conditioning coach Joph Cleopas; and Growling Tigers assistant coaches Jason Misolas, JR Carlos, and Jude Paulite.
The seven coaches were also part of Aldin Ayo’s staff back in Season 82.
Manansala, meanwhile, will still remain with the team.
No reason was given for their resignations.
UST finished the season with a 3-11 slate, losing their last six games.
Only one Growling Tiger has exhausted his final playing year in Joshua Fontanilla.
