LOOK: Rachel Daquis, Cherry Rondina headline PBA D-League muses

In the most lavish PBA D-League opening ceremony, all 20 teams made sure to put their best foot forward during the one-hour event.

For their debut in the second league, the Ateneo-Cignal Blue Eagles tapped Cignal HD Spikers’ Rachel Daquis and imports Erica Wilson and Anastasiya Gurbanova to serve as their muses.

Not to be outdone, Queen Tigress Cherry Rondina escorted the UST Growling Tigers to the floor.

Other volleyball stars that were invited to muse were Michele Gumabao, who, together with Jehza Mae Huelar, walked with the Marinerong Pilipino Skippers.

NU Lady Bulldogs’ Team B student-athlete Christiana Dimaunahan was the muse for the NU-SMDC Bulldogs.

There were also two beauty queens during the opening ceremony, as Ms. Grand International Nicole Ordoves served as muse for the AMA Online Education Titans. The Valencia City-San Sebastian Golden Harvest made sure to get Bukidnon natives Leighla Martina Ampo and Mary Joyce Canam as escorts.
