John “1rrad” Abarquez’s transfer to RRQ Hoshi in the MPL Philippines was one of the high-profile player movements during the off-season, and this development came as a shock, admitted RSG Philippines roamer Dylan “Light” Catipon.
After the team won the MPL Invitational 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia, last November, Light’s friendly banter with 1rrad became a reality.
During the MPLI, Jonard “Demonkite” Caranto, who played for RSG from Season 8 to 10, took the starting role with 1rrad sidelined and helped RSG secure their third championship after winning the MPL Philippines Season 9 title and the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup 2022.
With the development already behind them, Light looks forward to helping the team grow with Demonkite back on the team.
Attitude niya goods. Gameplay na lang yung kailangan naming i-enhance.”
