Leonardo was able to gain momentum at the end the set to earn a 21 – 17 victory. The 2nd set had Leonardo at a 9 – 4 advantage, but Lucas would be able to rally back and tie the game at 20 all. Lucas would eventually break the tie and earn the win, 21 – 23. Leonard began the final set with a 5 – 0 lead. she would never relinquish this advantage as she went on to defeat Lucas, 21 – 14.

Adamson would be able to claw their way back thanks to balanced scoring from both of its players. Adamson would take the 2nd set, 19 – 21. As if angered by their loss during the 2nd set, the pair from DLSU would obliterate their opponents on the final set of their match. They took an 18 – 11 lead that the pair from ADU would not be able to surmount. DLSU would go on to take the victory, 21 – 13.

Rivera would start the 1st set with a dominant 9 – 1 run. Garin would never recover, as she loses the 1st set, 21 – 8. Garin gave the 2nd set a little bit more fight as she kept the score close early on. Rivera, however, was able to go on a 5-point run that gave her a comfortable lead that helped her win the game, 21 – 14.
