La Salle hopes to solve PG woes with one-and-done Lian Ramiro

De La Salle University is utilizing the off-season to determine who will be Archer 1 for the upcoming UAAP Season 87 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

So far, only Joshua David has stood out, with reigning Most Valuable Player Kevin Quiambao assuming floor generalship duties for the Green Archers in some spurts.

To address their concerns, Topex Robinson has recruited 5-foot-11 guard Lian Ramiro.

Ramiro has already earned a degree from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, making him eligible to play immediately in Season 87.

Ramiro spent the first three years of his collegiate career at Colorado State-Pueblo before transferring to UAFS.

During his senior year, he averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.

However, his season was cut short by a hand injury from which he has since recovered.

With Ramiro’s addition, La Salle hopes he can fill the void left by Evan Nelle for just one year before the arrival of Jacob Cortez next year.
