La Salle gains commitment of Elite WA’s Aiesha Dizon

The rebuild of De La Salle University’s women’s basketball team has begun.

The Lady Archers have secured the commitment of a promising Filipino-Aussie prospect, Aiesha Dizon, on Monday.

Dizon is no ordinary prospect; despite being just 17 years old, she already has a wealth of experience under her belt.

The 5-foot-10 winger has been playing in NBL1 for the Rockingham Flames.

Head coach Cholo Villanueva is excited after gaining the commitment of Dizon.

“We are very excited for her to be part of our program,” said Villanueva.

Dizon will be an instrumental part of Villanueva’s program, which will lose Lee Sario, Bettina Binaohan, and Chuchi Paraiso come UAAP Season 88.

“She will definitely fill the void left by our veterans after this year. Her skill set and talent fit our system very well,” he added.

Last season, La Salle finished in fifth place with a 7-7 record. The Lady Archers made the Finals in Season 85.
