LA Andres part of UP’s Ballout team

University of the Philippines showcased its new recruits in the 2023 Strong Group Realty Ballout Sports Inter-Collegiate Champions Challenge presented by Cocolife.

Part of the team that faced Enderun Colleges on Sunday at New Era University Gym are the likes of Francis Lopez, Luis Pablo, and Seven Gagate.

But there was a surprising face donning the Fighting Maroons colors in LA Andres.

Andres, a 6-foot-5 guard, previously committed to De La Salle University.

The 18-year-old winger was part of the Gilas Boys team that competed in the 2022 FIBA Under-18 Asian Championship.
