Kuku, Abed meet again as T1 drops to AniMajor lower bracket finals

Karl “Karl” Jayme’s Puck was completely shut down as T1 dropped to the lower bracket final after receiving a tough 1-2 blow at the hands of PSG.LGD at the WePlay AniMajor, Saturday evening.

After spearheading a huge victory for T1 in Game Two, the Chinese squad decided to contain Karl’s signature hero by fielding in the Nyx Assassin and Doom for Zhao “XinQ” Zixing and Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida, respectively.

This proved to be the key for PSG.LGD as they snowballed right into victory in Game Three all while negating possible game-changing initiations from T1 by picking up the Aeon Disks early in the match.

XinQ dished out a game-high 11 assists along with a kill in the win while Faith_bian registered four kills, a death, and nine assists in the match which lasted for just 46 minutes and 46 seconds.

On the other hand, Karl was limited to just four kills and six deaths while T1 carry Nuegnara “23savage” Teeramahanon’s Spectre never reached its potential as he only had three assists and a death.

XinQ took charge in PSG.LGD’s Game One victory, putting up a 9-0-17 stat line on his Hoodwink. The South Korean, though, managed to even the series through Karl’s amazing Puck performance which landed him 12 kills and 20 assists against three deaths.

T1 will face Abed and Evil Geniuses for the last spot in the grand finals at 9:00 pm.
