F2 Logistics’ Kianna Dy was named the Most Valuable Player of the first-ever Philippine National Volleyball Federation Champions League, Thursday night at the Aquamarine Recreational Center.
Dy, who led the Cargo Movers to an undefeated 5-0 campaign en route to the championship, also took home the Best Opposite Spiker award.
“Actually di ko in-expect I’m really surprised but I’m really thankful,” said the 26-year-old Dy.
“Teary-eyed nga ako because this is my first MVP ever.”
Ces Molina of Petro Gazz was awarded the first Best Outside Hitter while Dindin Santiago-Manabat took the second Best Outside Hitter.
F2 Logistics captain Aby Maraño bagged the first Best Middle Blocker award while Chery Tiggo veteran Maika Ortiz snagged the second Best Middle Blocker plum.
Taking home the Best Libero award is Dawn Macandili of F2 Logistics. Another Cargo Mover in Iris Tolenada rounded up the awardees, claiming the Best Setter award.
