Kai Sotto deactivated by Adelaide vs Perth

Kai Sotto was not fielded by Adelaide for its NBL Blitz game against Perth on Tuesday.

Sotto, along with Daniel Johnson, was not part of the 10-man 36ers that were in uniform for coach CJ Bruton.

The 19-year-old Filipino had seven points, five rebounds, and a block against Cairns last Sunday. Meanwhile, Johnson led Adelaide with 33 points on 12-of-25 shooting with eight rebounds, three assists, and a block.

Plugged into the lineup for their game against the Wildcats were Isaac Humpries and Mojave King.

Completing the 36ers for the game are Cameron Bairstow, Sunday Dech, Tad Dufelmeier, Nick Marshall, Dusty Hannahs, Isaac Gattorna, Mitch McCarron, and Emmanuel Malou.

Adelaide defeated Perth, 63-56, while also taking the first, second, and fourth quarters.

With that, the 36ers raised their standing to 10.5 points to take solo first.

Adelaide takes on Tasmania on Sunday.
